Who called from the number +44 (208) 266-7989

Frauds pretending to be DHL trying to scam me into paying import duties on a parcel I received last month. They clearly have access to DHL data. Very worrying.

I had a call from an Indian male speaking very quickly, asked him to repeat himself 3 times and still couldn’t make clear sense of what he was saying. Trying to get me to pay £260 import tax! My item had already been delivered and dhl usually charge you import tax before delivery. He asked for my email address and I said no as I didn’t know him. He then confirmed my home address this is probably in a bid for me to think they are legit. I said to write to me in that case. Tried calling the number

They called me today claiming to be DHL. They knew my name, and my email address. I asked then to email me and nothing yet. I knew instantly that it was fraud. The issue is how do they know I had a DHL delivery. There must be a security breach on the DHL side.

I didn’t answer but got a voicemail. They said it’s DHL, requesting payment for customs. Fraudulent, DHL always send an invoice to me via the post as well as text

Had a call from this number the other day. It was an Indian sounding lady telling me she’s from DHL and I have to pay duty & VAT on an item I ordered from Barcelona. I’m usually very skeptical of these calls and the one golden rule is to NEVER give your bank details out over the phone, especially when it was an incoming call. The weird thing is she knew the supplier and the exact amount of the package, and her call was timed with the package being in customs according to the tracker. I wonder if

Turned out to be a genuine DHL customs call. I didn't answer but verified with the official DHL website.

SCAM. Had a call from an indian lady telling me that my DHL package was held up until I paid HMRC customs duty. Unfortunately for her the parcel had already arrived. Got very upset when I told her to keep the package. Concerning that she knew about my delivery and had my name and telephone number. If you dial the number comes up as unrecognised. I notice there are several comments here suggesting it is a legitimate DHL number. It is NOT.
