The comments saying this is genuine are false. Its common for fraudsters to comment on these threads themselves. I already paid my fees through the merchant in advance. Just had this call, gave my email and I'm waiting to receive it so I can report the email address they're using. No not every call is a 'scam' but this one is. And no customs charges aren't due to Brexit!! such fake comments and both on the same day what a coincidence...

Incoherent call from someone with poor English wanting an email address for customs clearance claiming to be from UPS.

A UPS call - A tricky one this - As always be very careful what information you present and get them to confirm details at their end first. Always remember to ask yourself "Is it something you are expecting?" My case was legitimate and international call, their request was for 'an' email address (Not "my" email address) to send to.
