Received call on mobile. Caller said there is fraud on on your HMRC account you must press one to be connected. Kept repeating you must press one to be connected. Ended call as HMRC does not have this number. Strangely enough I am expecting HMRC to get in contact.

Call to my landline @ 14:23 on Friday 12 March 2021. recorded message thanked me for renewing membership of Amazon Prime for £79 odd and if I didn't want to continue to key '1'. Ignored the invitation as I do not subscribe to Amazon Prime and suspect a scam call which would then use my number. Call apparently was from Chicago area code..
