Scam pretending to be Scottish power, keep getting calls and texts saying I owe over 4 grand. Never been with SP in my life. If you block the calls, they just call off another number.

Very odd call. Requesting lots of detailed security questions, claimed to be from Scottish power. When they said they wanted to take a payment and we refused they hung up. I called the number back and they answered immediately with a “hello thanks for Calling Scottish power...”. For anyone who’s ever tried to contact Scottish power you’ll know it’s a complete nightmare and you’re likely to be on hold for several hours so they answering immediately caused alarm bells.
