A call from a bolton number that was initially silent then a foreign voice comes on asking for a garbled name that definitely is not the house owner. Either another person has used the number for fraudulent credit or this is phishing.

SCAM. Claimed to be from BT Open Reach. Told them to get lost before they uttered much, because we have never used this company and have no intention to do so. But suspect it wasn't them anyway.

Did not leave message, did not trust number

Internet..supposedly BT Open Reach. Spoke of poor speeds, devices etc. Then wanted me to open up my PC. I do know Open Reach deal with external cabling and therefore, I did not open my PC I told him I would be discussing my issues with my provider. Think I'm getting better at knowing when a call is a scam, but it still frightens me and these people should be stopped.

SPAM "I am calling you with regard to your washing machine" he said. I knew what would come next so I just told him, using some very choice words, exactly what to do next. Surprisingly he then hang up.
